Steve Jobs and Apple’s Succession Plan?

My answer on Quora: We still wish Steve Jobs well and he will come back to work soon. Just like any other company, eventually there will be a new CEO at Apple. If this ever happens, it would be Tim Cook who is probably already familiar with the company operations and also the direction of the company’s vision. Timothy D. Cook (born November 1960) is the acting Chief Operating Officer of Apple Inc., having joined in March 1998.His primary responsibility is managing day-to-day operations at the company. During Steve’s medical leave of absence, Tim Cook will be responsible for most of Apple’s day-to-day operations while CEO Steve Jobs still makes most major decisions. It has been suggested that he will be the next CEO of Apple once Steve Jobs retires. http://www.quora.com/Who-will-replace-Steve-Jobs-as-the-next-apple-CEO/answer/Darren-Lee

Developing Apps on Facebook

There are definitely pros and cons to create apps on Facebook but what are they? And what is the final verdict after assessing these pros and cons? Answer Summary: Developing your app on Facebook seems to be more popular as it helps you piggy back off Facebook’s open graph as opposed to developing your own login/auth system which can often be a long and arduous task. By using iFrame on your Facebook app pages, it also helps direct traffic back to your website. So it’s definitely a plus to increase more traffic to your app or website. As for user traction, your app will spread more quickly and viral using Facebook social graph as compared to developing your site from scratch.
